
Following the boost of last weekend’s win at Brechin the Beanos were back on home turf this afternoon to face league leaders Cowdenbeath. The Fifers title chase has hit the skids in the last couple of weeks and they would have come to the DDS desperate to get back to winning ways. The spoils were shared the last time the sides met in a match the Beanos could very well have won. With only four games to go and Stirling adrift at the foot of the table it was vital that Greig McDonald’s troops tried their damnedest to get a positive result.
