Stirling have of course already had a couple of competitive outings but today was the one that really mattered as Annan visited Forthbank Stadium in our Division Three opener. Defeat at Falkirk in the Ramsdens was followed by Gayfield penalty kick misery in the League Cup. However, there were enough positive signs at Arbroath to suggest visitors Annan would be in for a tough match on their first trip North to Stirling. Team lines for the Beanos showed two changes from last weekend’s outing. Davie Crawford disappeared after helping out for one match while Kieran McAnespie missed out through suspension. Into the starting XI came Sam Filler and former youth team kid Ross McGeachie. This meant that the Albion had a back four of whom three are SAFC youth graduates.
